Who Is Angelika Vee

Angelika VeeAngelika Vee is a singer, songwriter and topline writer. Vee studied classical piano for 15 years as a child and earned a degree from the National University of Music in Romania, where she had success as both a songwriter and artist (her original song “Guale” is nearing the 1 million streams mark on You Tube and received airplay on popular radio outlets in Bucharest such as KISS-FM). Her Rihanna-esque voice and deft delivery subsequently lit up social networking site You Tube, where she has gained over 11 million collective hits to her channel and boasts nearly 30,000 subscribers (all in in under two years).

Partially because of her global success on You Tube and her own original songwriting ability (Vee penned several radio hits for other artists in Romania such as Ellie White and also in France, for Télévision Française 1 reality show Star Academy participants), the singer/songwriter went on to compete in and make it to the finals of the Los Angeles-based Rodney Jerkins sponsored singing competition Music Mogul in 2010. Multiple media outlets in Los Angeles covered the competition at the time (KTLA and more), and Vee has gone on to become an in-demand session singer and songwriter in Southern California, where she now lives.

Angelika newly signed a deal with Warner/Chappell music publishing for her hook writing ability and her incredible ear for melody within the pop, EDM and R&B arenas. She has since gone on to build a name for herself in dance and pop circles internationally, securing releases with several notable producers, both as a featured artist and a behind the scenes songwriter/topliner.
